We are well regarded and respected amongst other family lawyers and related professionals.
Legal issues can arise when circumstances in your relationship or family life change. We believe that family law requires a rather different approach to many other areas of the law; the aggressive, adversarial approach can all too often inflame and prolong disputes which could otherwise have been resolved through conciliation and negotiation.
Mr Ahmad, a foreign lawyer, and being formal solicitor and barrister, has plenty of experience in dealing with the complex cases in domestic violence, family settlement, children matters, international abduction matters, and divorce matters.
Mr Ahmad has, in the past, prepared cases and attended countless initial, FDHR, Directions and final hearings in all cases of family matters including Non-Molestation Order, Children matter, and Divorce matters.
Now we can advise you in all family matters in which you are thinking to go to court but before that you want to seek advice and negotiate with your partner and we will advise you when you should not proceed to filing the case in court. Then we shall advise you to approach a competent solicitor/barrister.
We can advise you in the following matters:
- Divorce
- Judicial Separation
- Domestic Violence
- Custody of Children
- Financial Settlement
- Pre & Post Nuptial Agreements
We can advise you if you and your former partner cannot agree on financial matters during, or after, a divorce. For example, you may not be able to agree on how assets should be divided, whether to sell your home or other assets, maintenance payments, or pension sharing. If you cannot agree, you can apply to a court for a financial order. You may need to attend a number of court hearings – we can not apply for your in court or represent you in these hearings. But we can refer to the solicitor/barrister.
Timescales
Timescales for your case may vary depending on factors such as lawyers’ availability, the value and complexity of your assets, whether you have children, how much you have already agreed with your former partner, and their approach. Written advice on your financial dispute will be available within two to four weeks where possible. As a guide, court hearings for a financial order tend to take six to twelve months. This does not include possible appeals.
